Turn a test ride into a cap

- Find a participating dealership and arrange your motorcycle test ride.
- Bring a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement. A learner’s permit or training course card will not qualify.
- Arrive with the required riding clothes and protective equipment.
- Complete the ride on a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle and collect your cap.
Riders need a jacket, gloves, full-length pants, and boots that cover the ankles. You must also wear a DOT-approved helmet plus suitable eye protection. Sunglasses, goggles, or a face shield can meet that requirement.
Come properly equipped.
One cap is available per qualifying participant. The cap itself costs nothing, but the licensing and safety requirements make this a fairly involved freebie. Stock is limited, so completing a ride before September 30 does not help if the participating dealership has already distributed its supply.
